JVC comes equipped with thunderous quad, hyped lyrics, and a high energy show that will have ya beggin' for more. In the tradition of Florida bass rap crews like 2 Live Crew, 95 South, and 69 Boyz, JVC will have you chanting their hooks 'til the break of dawn' and beyond. JVC will make you wanna "Shake what ya mama gave ya", and the quad bass will test the power of the sound system in your Benz, Seville, or Hooptie.
What's in a name? "A life of rhyme and reason," as explained by group members. "We have gone through many ups and downs in our careers in the music business, shiesty managers, bad contracts, etc...So now the group is 'JUST VERY CAUTIOUS' in all aspects of the music business." JVC was recruited by and records for the independent label Obelisk Records. The group is comprised of singer/producer 'Dalaz', rapper/writer 'Kilo G', and rapper/writer 'B-Lo'. They came together from various crews around Jacksonville, Florida. "We know we have the talent and drive to get J'ville the props it deserves," says Kilo-G. Adds Dalaz, "We will definitely take this music known as bass/booty to another level."
What sets JVC apart from comparable bass crews is their tight live show. "We want to give the people their money's worth when they come to see our show," admits Dalaz. Adds Kilo-G, "It's one thing to have a hit record, but not many crews can really rock a party, club, or park for that matter!"
